First and foremost, we must emphasise that we only use 100% unstunned Halal HMC meat in all the catering we supply. Through maintaining tight control over the meat we receive, we can assure our customers that our catering is totally Halal.

Using traditional cooking methods is an important factor of Lazeez's ethos of quality above all. All of our chefs have many years of experience using this style of cooking, with influences from all parts of India. Furthermore, we especially import spices from India to ensure they are only of the best quality.

Fresh herbs too are an important factor in traditional Indian cooking. At Lazeez we only use fresh herbs to produce more fragrant and flavoursome food products.

Our recipes are designed for maximum flavour and perfection, and we do not not take short cuts when cooking in quantity as many suppliers do today. 

One example of this is the use of the clay tandoor oven. Many caterers supplying tandoori items simply apply 'tandoori paste' to meat, then cook in large industrial ovens. At Lazeez, all tandoori is cooked in a clay tandoor on a skewer until cooked to perfection, obtaining that unique charcoal cooked flavour. Every tandoori naan is flattened out under the clay bowl of the tandoor, and cooked until golden light brown in colour, yet still soft and moist inside.
